Logan update
Softball ended.
It was fun having a team to play softball with! Even though I think we won maybe two games out of the entire season, we still had a blast!

Hanna Update
I had my first paid wedding photoshoot. To my surprise I actually loved capturing memories of weddings. I am really into documentary type photography and I realize I can do that with weddings, minus the typical formal posing. I think it is hard to have a photography business while being a wife and mother. Since all my shoots have been on the weekends, I find it difficult to balance spending time making memories with my own family while trying to capture memories of other families. The plan for now is to do a few gigs every now and then but to really focus on my own business once the kids are grown...or at least old enough to put to work.

Connor Update
Connor continues to add words to his vocabulary and he is beginning to form sentences.
This month I got to teach the kids for preschool. The kids all get along very well together. We had a blast with the hands-on activity of making lighthouses and home-made sand.

Gracie's mom said she wanted to do her own hair! She is too cute!

Texas State Fair
Everything in Texas is bigger! The fair was in the middle of downtown Dallas. It was crowded with people and tons of stuff. We had a fun time but we both still love the Georgia fair better.

Halloween
When Connor received the Georgia helmet as a gift from Nana and Grandpa, we immediately knew Connor was going to be a UGA football player for Halloween. I picked up a jersey while visiting in Georgia, Logan made the shoulder pads out of a diaper box (Mr. creative). Last minute I told Logan he should be a UGA coach and I wasn't going to be anything. But I decided Daisy was going to come trick or treating with us so I could be a cat as an opposite of daisy the dog. We went trunk-or-treating at our ward building and then went down a few streets for trick-or-treating. Here in some of the neighborhoods in Plano, TX, the city doesn't light their streets very well. We did not stay out very long. Afterwards, we stayed up late at the Anderson's Halloween Party.

Surprise
A few days before Halloween, I had been feeling strange and very emotional. I missed a doctor's appointment that I had been waiting months for, simply because I couldn't find the place and I was overwhelmed with all the traffic (I am still not use to living in such a giant city). On the way home I felt it was time to get a pregnancy test since I had been feeling so weird. I debated with myself if I really wanted to see another negative pregnancy test. I immediately took it when I got home. I was shocked with the faint positive line, and told myself not to get too excited and would test again in the morning. The next morning, I again got a positive result! I wanted to scream and shout with joy...but decided to play it cool in order to give Logan a surprise instead.
So, Connor and I ran to the store and bought Connor a shirt that said "I am being promoted to big brother"and also got logan a present and put the pregnancy test in the bag with the gift. We were so excited to see Logan and share the news. Planned on having lunch with him but he was too busy and worked through lunch. Finally he arrived home and I gave him his present (which he thought was odd). When he saw the test he got a huge grin on his face and tears in his eyes. We are so excited to FINALLY be pregnant!!!
