Logan Update:

Each year, before the golf season ends, the National Real Estate Group at Zions Bank has a department golf outing. It's so nice to take ½ the work day and hit the links. My group and I played 18 holes while the rest of the department only did 9. That being said, it was the best 18 holes I've EVER played! I shot a 44 for the front 9 holes, and a 48 for the back 9 holes. I came in 2nd, in our foursome, and 4th among the group that played 18 holes. Considering I haven't touch a golf club since right after my mission (6 years ago) when my grandpa and I played, I'm doing pretty good! We all had a good time, and I look forward to this outing next year!

Cute pictures of Logan & Connor

Hanna Update: Continuing my photography class and loving it! I just find myself seeing all the beauty in the world.

Connor Update:
Connor always learns something when we go to visit the Haslem's. This time he came home and showed us his climbing skills. During nap time I put him down and got on the phone. When I got off I heard some banging going on in his room. When I walk in Connor is playing with his toys with the biggest smile on his face. I put him back in and immediately he shows me how he climbed out. So to keep a broken bone from occurring we took the railing off his crib turning it into a toddler bed. He thinks it's pretty neat. Jumps on his bed and enjoys getting on and off the bed. Surprisingly, bedtime is very easy. It only took a few times of him getting out and start banging on the door to let him out.

(Picture coming soon)

Another big thing for Connor this month is we finally turned his carseat to front facing.

Centerville Waterfall Hike

We got together for a game night with two families from the ward, the Hokanson's and King's. While hanging out we discovered that we all enjoyed hiking. They are from Wyoming and Oregon which have beautiful places to hike.   We learned of a hike 10 minutes from out place in Centerville, UT. The next morning we got up early and went hiking all together. I love that they have so many kids and still do things they love. I love watching kids experience life; they point out things we take for granted. They started collecting rocks and bugs. Life is beautiful and I enjoy experience life through a child's eyes.

Halloween Festives:

Halloween was so much fun this year! Connor had a blast with all the different Halloween festivities. We took him to the ward's Trunk-or-Treat where he learned how to put the candy into his bag. Then Logan's work had an office Trick-or-Treat the "Halloween Parade" where the kids dressed up and went to all the cubicles to collect candy. By the time Halloween actually came Connor was a pro at putting candy into his bag and was able to grab multiple pieces of candy with one grab. For Halloween night we were invited over to Joanne and Gary's house which happens to be the really nice neighbor in the local area. I joked in saying I bet they hand out full size candy and sure enough some houses did. One neighbor even went all out and rode a live horse as the headless horseman. Connor sure made the cutest Ninja Turtle I have ever seen. Life is so much better with a kid.

Date night

Date nights are rare in our lives. Limited funds and people to watch Connor keep us from having regular date nights. Randomly our friends from the ward, The Hokanson family, offered to watch him while sending us out on a date. We were caught off guard and did not know what to do. Logan stepped up and planned the whole night. The night started off with flowers and dinner at an all-you-can eat sushi, our favorite that we can't make at home. Then we went to the Olympic Oval and went ice skating. We pretty much had the whole place to our selves. We both felt wobbly at the beginning but by the end we were pros with doing turns and speed skating. Good thing we both enjoyed roller blading as kids. We had a great time and am grateful for the Hokanson's to demand to watch Connor while we went out.

Wheeler Farm
After work we went down to Wheeler Farm. It is a beautiful little farm in the middle of the city. We originally went there to scope out a place for a photoshoot and ended up touring and having a great time. I went a little crazy with pictures.

HaHa! Connor was scared of the cow!

How can you not love this face?

Photoshoot

I loved Wheeler Farm so much that I asked my friend to come take some pictures of us with my camera. Recently, I had been noticing my camera had been acting up; but, I thought I was just being too picky. After this photoshoot, when most of the pictures came out blurry, I took the camera into the repair shop. It turns out there had been a recall on the camera. After getting everything fixed we went to a little park and set up the tripod and took some more pictures of us.
