Georgia Trip Continued …

Beach Trip
I love the beach. Dad, Mary, Connor, Eli, and I took a day trip to Tybee Island. Short, sweet and wonderful! Connor loved the beach, he jumped in the waves, chased the seagulls, dug in the sand, picked up shells, and even flirted with some ladies.

impromptu to beach trip equals using gardening tools for beach toys.

Eli 4 months old
While in Georgia, Eli turned four months old. He is a much happier baby that dairy is eliminated out of his diet completely. His grandpa taught him how to take a pacifier. I tried giving him a pacifier a few times and he would just spit it out. He has discovered his toes.

The Georgia National Fair
Anyone from Middle Georgia knows the fair is the best yearly event that comes to town. So of coarse we had to go. We got there as soon as it opened and stayed till sunset.

Fall Festivities
We went to Lanes Packing Company for their fall festival. I wanted some of their peach ice-cream but I didn't want the consequence of a screaming baby, so I resisted. The place was extremely crowded so we didn't stay very long.

We carved a pumpkin at my dad and mary's house. I asked Connor what kind of pumpkin he wanted and he said he wanted a scary pumpkin.

Quilting
I decided I wanted make all my babies a quilt so it was Eli's turn. Mary and I worked on the quilt together. Mary was able to bring out her mother's old sewing machine and work on it as well. We made a lot of mistakes on it but we joked saying that since we were using mary's mothers machine that she was watching from above and helping with the miracles of it coming together. I love the gift that Mary gave me 3 years ago of teaching me to sew. I hope Eli loves his quilt since it was made with so much love.

(picture of finished quilt coming soon)

Halloween
We went trick-n-treating at our friends the king's neighborhood. Connor wanted to be a police officer this year so we all decided to go with that them as a family. Logan and I were robbers and Eli was the bag of money.
